Dead Ops Arcade will be making its return to Call of Duty’s Zombies mode in Black Ops 7, with a teaser shown at Gamescom.

Ever since it first debuted as a part of Call of Duty: World at War, Zombies has been a fun add-on to Treyarch’s CoD titles. Some players are desperate to try and finish the Easter Eggs first, others want round records, and others just want to rack up kills.

One of the other parts of the Zombies experience is Dead Ops Arcade. The top-down arcade mode was first introduced as a part of the original Black Ops, and has returned twice, both in Black Ops 3 and Black Ops: Cold War.

Well, the mode will also be returning as a part of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, with a small teaser being shown at Gamescom.

Dead Ops Arcade 4 confirmed for Black Ops 7

The initial teaser came at the back end of the Call of Duty presentation during Opening Night Live, with the all-too familiar top-down action coming into view for a few moments.

Nuketown is at least confirmed to play a part, you can’t miss the yellow school bus in the middle of Dead Ops Arcade 4.

“Dead Ops Arcade 4 blasts into Black Ops 7 with a wild new mode, deadly weapons, and new arenas in over-the-top chaos. Whether you’re solo or with the squad, DOA 4 is absolute mayhem,” the devs subsequently confirmed in their Black Ops 7 blog.

Treyarch have also promised some more details during the Call of Duty: Zombies reveal for Black Ops 7.

“This top-down, twin-stick Zombies shooter provides plenty of frantic, arcade-style action along with XP progression. Packed with power-ups, traps, and relentless waves of enemies, this is pure over-the-top co-op chaos for up to four players. Expect more details soon!”
