Black Ops 7 set to have more Mastery camos than ever before

The release of Black Ops 7 will kick off yet another camo hunt, but this year’s game is set to have more Mastery camos to unlock than we’ve seen in the series to date.

Each Call of Duty is packed with content to keep players hooked for many months after launch, but one of the biggest draws is the camo grind. Every year, there’s a shiny new set of weapon skins to be earned by completing challenges and proving your skill with each gun.

Black Ops 7 will be no different, but if you’re someone who needs to unlock every single one before you can rest, the job is going to be even longer this time around.

BO7 brings campaign Mastery camos for first time ever

For the first time in Black Ops 7, there will be four Mastery camos that are exclusive to the campaign. This takes the total number to 16, as there will be a further four in multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone once it integrates.

For comparison, Black Ops 6 featured a total of 12 after it introduced Warzone Mastery camos for the first time, making the new Mastery camo grind the biggest to date.

These campaign-exclusive skins will be available by completing specific challenges across the many missions, which can be played either solo or co-op. Based on how they usually work, you’ll have to tick off a series of objectives with individual weapons to earn animated camos for the entire class.

Once you’ve unlocked them, the camos can then be used across any mode, so you can show off your prowess in multiplayer and Warzone.
