Black Ops 7 has 16 6v6 maps at launch with three BO2 remasters

Although early leaks claimed that Black Ops 7 would have all of Black Ops 2’s maps, the more recent leaks are accurate – there will actually be 13 brand-new maps alongside three remastered maps.

The returning maps are Express, Raid, and Hijacked. These all hit Black Ops Cold War through its post-launch seasons, but will be there at Black Ops 7’s launch on November 14.

Raid is often called the best Call of Duty map ever made, while Express is also a fan-favorite. Hijacked is a smaller, more chaotic map set on a luxury yacht at sea, so it will be perfect for those who prefer constant action.

Black Ops 7 also brings the brand-new 20v20 Skirmish mode with two new maps (Mission Edge and Mission Tide) set in Avalon – the fictional Mediterranean region where many BO6 maps are set, as well as the new game’s campaign.

Black Ops 6 launched with 12 6v6 maps and four small Strike maps, so if you include BO7’s two Skirmish maps set in Avalon, there are two more maps to enjoy this time.

While there are only three BO2 maps at launch, there’s a good chance more will arrive throughout the post-launch seasons alongside new weapons and Operators.

You can also expect Nuketown to return soon after launch. The classic map arrived in Black Ops Cold War 11 days after the game launched, and it hit Black Ops 6 just one week after. There’s no guarantee we’ll see it again, but it would follow the trend.
