Sniper Rifles have experienced their fair share of ups and downs in Warzone’s meta, but the best sniper loadouts are always among the top guns in Call of Duty‘s battle royale.

The power of snipers is unmatched for long-range engagements, providing critical support by pressuring and eliminating enemy squads from afar. Raven has implemented various buffs and nerfs throughout Warzone‘s history, with Season 4 Reloaded being no exception.

Best Sniper Rifle loadouts in Warzone

1. HDR

The HDR made its long-awaited return in Season 3, and it instantly became the best Sniper Rifle in Warzone and has kept that spot. Above all else, this is because it boasts incredible damage that lets it one-shot with a headshot at any range.

Understandably, the devs have been hesitant to let weapons be this powerful, but in an effort to recreate the classic Verdansk feel, the HDR has been left untouched. While it may not be as nimble as some of the other options on this list, its raw strength is unmatched.

So, if you’re a player who prefers to pick teams off from a distance, there is truly no better sniper in Season 4 Reloaded than this.

2. Victus XMR

The Victus XMR received a huge buff in Season 4 Reloaded, giving it infinite one-shot headshot range to bring it up to par with the HDR and KATT-AMR.

Thanks to this buff, it’s now the second-best Sniper in Warzone, coming in just behind the HDR. It has a fast ADS speed and high bullet velocity, so is a fantastic option if you’re sick of the HDR and want to try something new.

3. Kar98k

The Kar98k remains a top-tier option in Warzone. It can down in one shot up to 67 meters, which is extraordinary considering how fast its handling is compared to other snipers. This weapon is especially strong in Resurgence, where it is one of the best weapons in the game.

It has received a few range nerfs since its initial release, but these haven’t stopped it from being the premier sniper for more aggressive players. Even after all of these years, this classic Marksman Rifle is still the gun you want to pick if dominating close to medium-range duels is your goal. Just be aware that it will lose to other snipers at long range, so be sure to pick your gunfights.

4. KATT-AMR

If you’re looking for the Sniper Rifle with the most firepower, look no further than the KATT-AMR. Although slower than the options above, it can one-shot-headshot from an infinite range and two-shot the body.

The only thing holding it back is the lack of mobility and relatively slow bullet velocity, but if you can lock down a power position, the KATT can be a devastating option.

5. FJX Imperium

• Fire Mods: .408 High Velocity

The FJX Imperium, also known as the Intervention, provides a great middle ground between the Kar98k and other snipers. It’s more mobile than the HDR and Victus while being able to one-shot headshot from further away than the Kar.

If you want to take part in long-range sniper battles in Rebirth Island or want to play aggressively in Verdansk, then the Intervention is worth a try.

Meta Analysis

The HDR is still far and away the best pick in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see it get nerfed in a future update, but, for now at least, it should remain your go-to.

That’s not to say the rest aren’t strong, as balance changes in Season 4 Reloaded have buffed several other snipers. The Victus XMR can now one-shot headshot from any range, and the KATT AMR and FJX Imperium were also buffed.

If you plan to play Resurgence, you are better off using the Kar98k or LW3A1 Frostline. These two guns offer far superior handling, which is ideal for those medium-range scenarios where you need to aim in quickly to avoid missing out on a potential kill.

But for Verdansk, the one-shot capabilities of the HDR make it difficult to recommend anything else over it. The rest are great in certain situations, but the HDR is the undisputed king of Verdansk.

The above ranking assumes the use of the best loadout possible for each gun, with the main goal of maximizing damage range potential. This is by far the most important stat with a sniper rifle, as it impacts how far away you can down enemies in a single shot.
