Pick rate data can be valuable for players across all experience levels in Apex Legends. It’s handy for anyone looking to switch up the main Legend they’re using.
The pick rate numbers are pulled from a database of 28 million players, so while it doesn’t include the entire player base for the battle royale, it’s still a big sample size that offers some great insight.

The most used Legends in Apex Legends Season 25
Ash is still the queen of Apex but she’s no longer untouchable. After peaking at 25.7% in Season 24, she’s dropped to 19.9%. That’s still meta-defining, but the gap between her and the rest has finally narrowed. Revenant, Ballistic and the brand new Legend Sparrow are right on her heels, all three sitting just above 8%.
Respawn EntertainmentSparrow’s debut was huge. Sitting at 8.1% just weeks into the season and settling at 9% in August, she’s already one of the most picked Legends in the game. That’s rare for a launch character and it shows just how much players are vibing with her kit. Fast paced, aggressive, and built for duels, she fits the current Arena and Duels meta perfectly.
Ballistic has proven his Season 24 rework wasn’t just a flash in the pan. He’s held strong in the top three, even outpacing Lifeline, who dropped from 9.9% to 6.6%. That’s a big fall, and while her healing tools still offer strong team utility, she’s starting to lose ground to flashier picks.
Pathfinder is up in a big way. After sitting in the middle of the pack last season at 3.7%, he’s now surged to 6.6%. Alter dropped back to 2.7% after reaching double that figure last month.
Some big names have dropped hard. Wattson, despite being free to unlock during the Future Icons event, collapsed by over 40% in a week. Vantage is also down from her prior highs, and Horizon’s fall continues. From 2.5% to 1.5%, it’s her lowest in a while. The one time movement queen just can’t keep up with the newer, more versatile picks.
