ALGS Championship: EMEA recap, highlights, results

A total of 40 EMEA teams qualified for the ALGS Championship and, after some wild finishes, none of the lower-seeded teams can be ignored. In the end, it was No. 5 SCARZ Europe who surged forward and took home first place, thanks in major part to their Valkyrie player, Can ‘Taisheen’ Ozturk. The Turkish slayer took home the Apex Predator award for most kills, alongside tournament MVP.

But Taisheen wasn’t the only Apex Predator winner, as Fire Beavers’ Danila ‘Sunset’ Soloviov also took home the award. The Russian fragged out and helped Fire Beavers secure second place, despite coming in as the 25th-ranked team.
