Things took a darker turn in the Elbaf Arc with Chapter 1140 when Shamrock revealed their plan for the giant nation. After summoning two new Gods Knights – Saint Sommers and Saint Killingham – the Shanks lookalike instructed them to make a game out of kidnapping Elbaf’s children.
However, the chapter had some lighter moments. Luffy and Zoro clashed against Scopper Gaban, though the veteran pirate surrounded the key before the fight could get serious. With that, Luffy now has the means to free Prince Loki from his chains.
The consequences of both these events are revealed in One Piece Chapter 1141, which ends on an intriguing cliffhanger.

Manga PlusOne Piece Chapter 1141 is titled ‘Older Women’. This is probably a reference to a key scene in the chapter with Jorul. The cover page, which features Vol. 27 of ‘Ogre Child Yamato’s Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage’, shows the henchmen of Who’s Who punching Page One.
The chapter starts with Ripley taking Franky to a huge Adam Tree. One of the branches of the tree had to be cut off after it caught fire from a lightning strike. After the fiasco with Gaban, Nami returns to the party and joins Usopp. The drunk sniper asks Jorul about the kind of women he likes, to which the giant replies, “Older women!”
Road has also returned and brought back an injured soldier. Gerd treats the soldier but is suspicious of Road and beats him up. Sanji, once again smitten, follows the giantess.
Elsewhere, Luffy and Zoro have reached the Underworld with the key. They discuss whether it’d be a good idea to free Loki. Right then, Hajruddin and his crew fall from the sky in their ship and try to stop them from freeing the giant prince.
However, it’s too late and Loki has already been freed. One Piece Chapter 1141 ends here.
